The project is the Sunshine Sugar Cane Unloading Facility at our Broadwater site. Foundations were constructed by Greg Clark Building in 2008.
The facility was designed to accept up to 500 ton per hour of sugar cane biomass, conveyed to the mill for sugar extraction and biomass fuel for the 30MW cogeneration boiler now owned by Cape Byron Power.
Greg Clark Building have been a key construction partner with Sunshine Sugar for over 15 years.
Greg Clark Building is extremely proud to have been part of this sustainably sourced biomass fuel project, which is low carbon, cost effective and renewable.
