Cherry Street Sports Club

Greg Clark Building were engaged to undertake the multi-stage refurbishment works of the Cherry Street Sports Club in Ballina.

The works were Design and Construct, so communication was vital to make sure the Club knew what was happening in the weeks ahead, to plan electrical and plumbing outages, and to ensure the client got the end product that they envisaged.

The works involved a total new layout which included new poker machine room, new TAB facility, 2 new bars, alfresco deck, new commercial kitchen, new toilets, and entire refurbishment to walls, ceiling and floor coverings. We worked closely with the design team to ensure the club could get the most, both practically and functionally, as a result of the refurbishment.

There were 5 stages in total, in which we had to manage to ensure the Club was still operational to allow their clients and staff to continue business as usual, and to also manage the safety to our staff, the Clubs staff and clientele.

The products and finishes used were carefully selected to give a classy and sophisticated final product, while staying within the budget and on time.
