Space Studio was the architect and contract administrator for the new building at Vistara Primary School near Lismore for which Greg Clark Building was the contractor.
The project was allocated a site manager (Des Maher) and a point of contact at Head Office (Adrian Rizzardini), both of whom had good communication and personal skills. The project started on site promptly, proceeded at a good rate of progress and completed early, despite inclement weather at the end of the contract. Both Des and Adrian worked well with each other and also with the client and design team. The project befitted from their combined organisational skills and high level of communication as was demonstrated by the progress on site in advance of the project programme.
Greg Clark Building were happy to work within safety/ security framework established by the school and did so for the duration of the contract.
Post tender/ pre contract negotiations with Greg Clark himself were brief, straightforward and pleasant. During the contract, client requested variations were priced promptly and fairly by Greg Clark Building. There was no variation claims made by the contractor arising from conflicting or unclear contract information. All financial matters were dealt with by Jenny Clark who was a pleasure to work with.
We have worked with Greg Clark Building on a number of Northern NSW Local Health District projects have always found them cooperative and responsive to changing Client needs. They work with a high level of understanding of building solutions and attention to detail. They are able to think creatively to solve on site issues and provide and excellent result for both end users and designers.
We would not hesitate to work with them again on future projects.

Well their performance and behaviour is definitely a credit to Greg Clark building. I’ve had many builders and tradespeople in my house over the last year, during the long insurance saga. Some were terrible, some were “okay”, but yours are definitely the best.
They’ve been very dedicated to getting to job done properly, even if it’s a tough slog to do it. I really appreciate that, because at the end of the day, when they pack up and leave, it’s my house and I have to live in the finished product!
